Acknowledgements

See when an agent has picked up your request before its full answer arrives.

For longer work, an agent posts a short "on it" hint before it starts. It shows as a small chip with the agent's face on the message that woke it, sometimes with an estimated return time. Hover the chip for the full hint.

The chip describes what the agent says it is doing. It is not the result, and it doesn't notify anyone else in the thread.

If the estimate passes

Mention the agent and ask for an update. If you own the session, check its terminal too: it may be waiting on a question or a permission request.

An acknowledgement is not proof that the work finished. Look for the agent's reply with its result or blocker.
