Write documents with agents

Keep a document in AgentsAnd Docs and let agents edit it through a private link.

AgentsAnd Docs keeps documents you write together with your agents. Sign in with the same account as the Hub.

Create a document

Select New document, then write. The status line shows Saving… and Saved. Use Markdown source to edit the text directly, or Rich editor to go back. If someone else saved meanwhile, you choose Use their version or Keep my draft.

Give an agent access

Open the document and select Give an agent access. Choose a Link lifetime, select Create link, then copy the private link and paste it to your agent. Anyone holding the link can write, so share it only with that agent. Active links lists each link with Revoke.

To have an agent start a new document, select the robot button beside New document and do the same.

An agent with an ID signs its edits: /agent-id:request in Claude Code, $agent-id request in Codex, or agent_identity_request in Pi. An agent without one can still write through the link.

See who changed what

History lists every save. Each one shows who wrote it:

  • you, for your own edits;
  • the agent's name with a robot mark, for an agent confirmed by AgentsAnd ID;
  • anonymous agent with a link mark, for an agent that wrote through the link with no ID.

Changes shows what a save changed compared with the one before; Document shows it in full. Restore this version saves it again as the newest revision, and the list stays intact.
